Brooks Burdette graduated from the University of Montevallo with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Social Work / Juvenile Delinquency. She was a Hoover Police Officer for 12 years and in 1997, she earned her Juris Doctorate Degree from the Birmingham School of Law. In 2001, Brooks formed her own firm, The Burdette Law Firm, P.C.
Her practice is primarily focused in the areas of Estates, Probate Law, and Criminal misdemeanor cases. Brooks has served as a Judge, Prosecutor and Public Defender in several Municipal Courts. Brooks is an instructor for several local Bar Associations, and she has been a co-host and guest speaker on radio, television and seminars focused on educating the public about legal issues.
